This is Capitina Alexis Valentina Elisabeta Milano.
And no, it is not one of my characters, since I am not that gifted when it comes to names.
C.A.V.E.M. belongs to ~godfather1932

I felt like drawing a pirate. And since I kind of know (seen her once or twice XD) the person behind this one I chose this one.
Hope you like

Ooh, I like this. Except that the hands aren't really pretty much equal in size I love this. The character looks so mesmerized. It's good!!! Good hands, too. And the hair, like the hair. Nice hat, too.

Naturally you like this... Because it is modelled after a nice character created by someone else. I really wanted to go for that distinctive pirate look.

I reaaaally like the hair woot woot. You can practically see the wind without you drawing it. Something all my art teachers made a big stink about. Yayness.

Again with portraying thin people, yay! I know how thin Godfather1932 is so I know that's pretty accurate *grin*

I know why you don't want to color stuff, but I think this piccy would ROCK with color. Even if it's pantone (flat color) you can make it work for you. Just use cool colors becuase she's big into purples and blacks.

And while she's standing there in a typically stiff position, she's a lot less stiff than how you used to draw random standing people.

I think a way for you to work on that would be to draw rounder shapes. When you're sketching instead of just doing the outline do an oval for the face, a circle for the skull, cylindar for the neck, rounded square for the shoulders, circles for the boobs, oval for the ribs, circle for the hips and boo-hiney and so on and so forth. Something that helped me a LOT was when my figure drawing teacher told me to draw a quick the skeleton first, then to add on the flesh and draw the weight of the stomach, to give her healthy curves instead of making her look like a skeleton with skin slapped on. Though I developed an odd habbit of drawing the thigh bone two times longer than it should have been, but hey, it's all part of growing as an artist.

I'm proud of you lovey. Keep drawing! *cheer cheer*
